Battle of the Bags

There are two fairly new, competing, pea sheller harvest bags on the market. Both are made of quality material for years of use.

Similarities:

• 5- gallon container
• Durable nylon construction for years of normal use
• Can be worn around the waist with attached snap belt
• Rubber ring to keep the mouth open

Differences:

• Mesh bag has top handles- the full fabric does not
• Mesh bag has two belt clips at the top- the full fabric is built in lower on the bag
• Mesh bag allows greater airflow

My staff prefers the look and feel of the full fabric bag. The belt is easier to adjust. It is more comfortable to wear because the belt is attached below the opening so the rubber ring is not rubbing against the hip.

The mesh bag is not that uncomfortable to wear unless you try on the full fabric one. I really like how the mesh bag not only provides air flow but if it is left out in the rain, it will not hold water, something to think about. The handles are a nice touch.
